ER Stuebner was selected to return to Reading Area Community College’s main campus and construct a high-end Theater and Arts Center from funds largely received from Marlin Miller. We were charged with constructing his vision a fully functional Arts Center in center–city Reading, Pa. on completely unsuitable soil.  The project utilized stone column construction beneath the concrete mat foundations to overcome the unsuitable soil and high-ground water conditions. This project was built over the course of three semesters with little or no disturbance to the campus’s 5,000 students and faculty.
